Another service that we carry out on the premises is Rhodium plating. We are able to re-rhodium items, the most popular item to re-rhodium is a ring. Over time the existing finish wears off and on white gold rings a yellowish tinge starts to appear, we simply re-polish and re-rhodium the whole item.
We are also able to apply a rhodium finish to parts of jewellery, that way you can have yellow and white, a two colour affect on items.
If you have yellow gold rings, studs and pendants ect... and you now like the look of white metal, we are able to add the rhodium finish over parts or the whole item creating a look of white gold. This way you can enjoy wearing them again.
A rhodium finish doesn't last forever, we are very generous with our coating but over time, especially on rings, the finish will wear away. But you can always have items re-polished and rhodium added again at any time, also, if you decided you no longer like the finish we are able to remove it turning the item back to its original colour.
