COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN
Do you find it hard to visualise a completed design? Do you find it difficult to explain the design and look that you are after in an item of jewellery? New to 2007, here at Martin Wilde Jewellers we are now studying the amazing possibilities of CAD (computer aided design) using Matrix 3D Jewellery Design Software from Gemvision. The Matrix program lets us design virtual jewellery on-screen while generating a detailed colour preview image that can be printed or emailed. This is a great way forward for designing unique items of jewellery to a customers wishes. This program can be used by us infront of you and we can build an item from scratch. Any dislikes that you have can be changed there and then, also any negatives of a design will be visible.
Items can also be viewed at any angle, to the right there are two images showing two different views of a ring designed by Martin using Matrix 3D Jewellery Design Software from Gemvision. The ring has been designed in platinum and contains six diamonds and a pink tourmaline gemstone to the centre. Another great function of the design program is that it allows you to use any size, cut and coloured stone, this allows a customer to see the design with different stones and helps a customer decide on their preferred look.

There are so many possibilities with CAD (Computer aided design) and here at Martin Wilde Jewellers we are very pleased to say that we are going to be part of it and allow our customers to have a lot of fun designing their own jewellery.
